In the pages of a book, you can encounter wild landscapes, crazy creatures, and dangers galore—all from the safety of your comfiest chair. Kate Milford’s historical adventure The Left-Handed Fate depicts a nineteenth-century search for a mythical superweapon said to stop war. Elise Broach sets her latest novel, The Wolf Keepers, in magnificent Yosemite National Park. And Jennifer Weiner, in her middle-grade debut, The Littlest Bigfoot, explores an unexpected friendship between two outsiders—only one of whom is human. Our tour guide on this adventurous journey is Lauren Rizzuto of Simmons College.
