Alex Prud'homme

Alex Prud’homme is a journalist who has been a staff writer for Talk magazine, TIME, and People, among other publications. His writing has appeared in the New Yorker, Vanity Fair, and elsewhere. Prud’homme is also the author of several nonfiction books, including Forewarned, The Ripple Effect, and The Cell Game. Prud’homme helped his great-aunt, Julia Child, write the memoir My Life in France, which served as partial inspiration for Nora Ephron’s movie Julie & Julia. Prud’homme’s newest book also focuses on Child. Kirkus calls The French Chef in America “an affectionate but journalistically scrupulous backstage account of Child's influential second act.”
