Christopher Castellani

Christopher Castellani is an acclaimed author, educator, and recipient of a 2014 Guggenheim fellowship for fiction. He is the artistic director of GrubStreet, one of the country’s leading nonprofit creative writing centers, and serves on the faculty and academic boards of the Warren Wilson MFA program and the Bread Loaf Writers Conference. His novels include A Kiss from Maddalena, winner of the 2004 Massachusetts Book Award; The Saint of Lost Things, a BookSense Notable Book; and All This Talk of Love, a New York Times editor’s choice and finalist for the Ferro Grumley Literary award. In The Art of Perspective: Who Tells the Story, he examines the question of narrative perspective in a series of essays that Kirkus calls a “modest, gracefully written meditation on creativity and craft.”
