Liz Moore

Liz Moore is the author of The Words of Every Song and the acclaimed novel Heft, which was longlisted for the international IMPAC Dublin Literary Award. Her short fiction and creative nonfiction have appeared in publications including Tin House, the New York Times, and Narrative Magazine, and she has won numerous awards for her work, including the 2014 Rome Prize in Literature, University of Pennsylvania’s ArtsEdge residency, and the Philadelphia Athenaeum literary Award. She also teaches writing at Holy Family University. Her most recent work, The Unseen World, is an examination of artificial intelligence and, according to the Boston Globe, “an incisive, insightful, and compassionate examination of the complexities of family and identity.”
