Margot Harrison

Margot Harrison reviews films and books for Seven Days, a Vermont-based independent newspaper, and is also a movie critic for the film site Rotten Tomatoes. With a self-described “lifelong habit” of creeping herself out, Harrison focuses particularly on thriller and horror genres. With The Killer in Me--described in a starred review from Publishers Weekly as an “expertly shap[ed]” “standout mystery”--Harrison debuts her first work of fiction for young adults. The novel, a psychological thriller whose teenage protagonist simultaneously tracks a serial killer and confronts chilling personal truths, is a page-turner whose paranormal elements serve to heighten suspense.
