Nathalia Holt is a science writer and New York Times bestselling author of Cured: The People Who Defeated HIV. She was trained as a fellow at the Ragon Institute of Massachusetts General Hospital, MIT, and Harvard. Her writing has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, TheAtlantic.com, Slate, Time.com, and Popular Science. Her most recent work, Rise of the Rocket Girls: The Women Who Propelled Us, From Missiles to Moon to Mars, is a look into the little-known history of the women of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory who helped launch the first American space missions, satellites, and explorations in the 1940. Girls Who Code calls the book “a must read for any women in tech or interested in technology.”
