Paul Goldberger

Paul Goldberger is a Pulitzer Prize–winning architecture critic who is currently a Contributing Editor at Vanity Fair. He was the architecture critic for the New Yorker from 1997 to 2011 and, before that, the architecture critic for the New York Times, and he holds the Joseph Urban Chair in Architecture and Design at the New School. Goldberger is the author of several books, including Why Architecture Matters and Up from Zero: Politics, Architecture, and the Rebuilding of New York, which was a New York Times Notable Book. Most recently, Goldberger has written Building Art: The Life and Work of Frank Gehry, the first full-length biography of the Pritzker Prize–winning architect.
