Faludi's work has appeared in the New Yorker, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the Nation, among other publications. Faludi won the Pulitzer Prize for explanatory journalism in 1991, for a Wall Street Journal article on the human costs of the leveraged buyout of Safeway. In it, she combines her own critical inquiries into gender with the personal story of her transgender father.
